At Balcontrole we value the privacy of our visitors and students. In this privacy policy we explain clearly which data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
1. Cookies and website analytics
Necessary storage is used for basic functionality and your preferences. Google Analytics is loaded only after you give explicit consent. It helps us understand website use through aggregated information and may set _ga cookies. Advertising storage and ad personalisation remain disabled. You can change your choice at any time through ‘Cookie settings’ in the footer.
2. What data do we collect?
From our students we collect performance data (such as ball-control statistics, juggling records, sprint times and match results). We do this with one single purpose: to track each student's individual development and help them improve. In addition, we keep basic information such as name and contact details for administrative purposes.
3. Display on the website
By enrolling as a Balcontrole student, the student (or parents/guardians in the case of minors) accepts that certain performance data may be displayed on the website — such as rankings, statistics and profiles. This is done for motivation, recognition and transparency within the academy.
4. Right to deletion
You always have the right to view, correct or fully delete your data. A simple request through the contact page is enough — we process the request as soon as possible and confirm the deletion.
5. Server security
We use modern security techniques to protect our servers and data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, regular backups and access control. We do everything we can to keep the website and stored data safe.
6. Retention period
Data is kept no longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Student performance data remains available as long as the student actively participates in our trainings, unless the student requests deletion.
7. Sharing with third parties
We do not share personal data with external parties unless legally required or necessary to provide our service. If you allow Analytics, Google processes usage data as our analytics provider. In every case, we limit processing to what is needed for the stated purpose.
8. Rights of data subjects
In accordance with GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. To exercise these rights, you can always contact us.
9. Minors
For students under 16, we explicitly require the consent of parents or guardians for the processing and publication of performance data.
10. Changes to this policy
This privacy policy may be updated to comply with changes in legislation or our operations. The latest version can always be found on this page.
